Wait, what are apricot rolls? And where are they acquired (I'm guessing in my neighborhood with its many Armenian bakeries?)? I feel like I've been missing out all these years.

Sounds Apricot Preserves would work great.

I had a brisket "fail" this Chanukah so I'm saving this recipe for next time. I love a sweeter brisket and esp love apricot!! Thanks, Randy.

I’m glad you clarified the apricot rolls. Had never heard of them, and this sounds extremely delicious.

Ha! This time you anticipated the question from the stupid cook's gallery (" Randy, wtf is an apricot roll? is that from some specialty bakery?) but you still neglected to mention how much apricot jam and how many dried apricots would be the equivalent of 4 apricot rolls for those whose closest Middle Eastern grocery story is a mere 917 miles. Which you really should know is the obvious question part B from the stupid cook's gallery!

I love your brisket recipe- i typicall make mine with ketchup, chili sauce, and some kind of liquid- coke, 7 up, or beer. like you, i only make it for Passover and Yom Kippur eve. sometimes for Hanukkah. Saving yours for next time!
